Microblading is a tattoo. It fades, it does not vanish, and the shape you agree to is the shape you live with for over a year. That is why the mapping before the first stroke takes as long as the procedure.

Mapping is the appointment, the blading is the easy part
Before any pigment goes in we measure your face and draw the shape on with pencil, and you look at it in a mirror in daylight and agree to it. Eyebrows are not symmetrical on anybody, and the job is to make two brows that are sisters rather than twins. If the drawn shape is not right, nothing after it can be. Most of the complaints people have about permanent brows are complaints about a shape they never properly looked at.
Healing changes the colour twice
Days one to three they look dark and sharp, and most people panic. Days four to ten they scab and flake and look patchy, and most people panic again. From about week three the real colour settles in, roughly forty percent softer than day one. This is normal and it is why the top up is at four to six weeks, once we can see what actually healed.
The cheaper options, which suit a lot of people better
Brow lamination at 7,000 brushes the hairs up and sets them, which fills a sparse brow that has hair but no shape. A brow tint at 3,000 darkens the fine hairs you already have. Together they cost ten thousand rupees, last six to eight weeks, and for someone whose brows are thin rather than absent they often look better than a tattoo. We will say so.
Why it matters
Eighteen thousand rupees and eighteen months is a serious commitment to a shape, and the shape is decided in the first twenty minutes of the appointment. Almost every unhappy microblading client we see was unhappy with the mapping and did not know they were allowed to say so. Here you look at the drawn shape in a mirror, in daylight, and nothing permanent happens until you say yes to it.

Oily skin pushes pigment out faster and fades sooner, so expect a shorter interval.

Metal implements are sterilised between clients. Files, buffers and anything that cannot be sterilised is used once and thrown away.

Brows and microblading questions we are asked
Twelve to eighteen months for most people, less on oily skin, which pushes pigment out faster. It fades gradually rather than disappearing, so the shape stays visible as it softens.
With numbing cream it is uncomfortable rather than painful, more of a scratching sensation. The area right at the start of the brow is the sharpest.
PKR 13,000 for microblading, 12,000 for brows shading, 14,000 for nano or Arabic brows and 15,000 for combo brows, each for the first session. Lamination at 7,000 and a brow tint at 3,000 are the reversible alternatives.
Because the pigment sits at the surface until it heals. It softens by roughly forty percent over three weeks. Judging the colour in the first week is judging the wrong thing.
It fades on its own, and pigment can be lightened with laser, which takes sessions and money. That is exactly why the mapping stage is where you should be fussy, not afterwards.
