What keratin and rebonding is
Rebonding is permanent, keratin is not
Rebonding, sold here as extenso, breaks the bonds in the hair and reforms them straight. It does not wash out. It stays until that hair is cut off, and new growth comes in with your own natural texture, which is why the line at the root becomes visible after four or five months. Brazilian keratin coats and smooths instead of restructuring. It reduces frizz, keeps some movement, and fades over three to five months.
Keratox and hair botox are repair, not straightening
These are treatments for damaged, dry or over processed hair. They fill and seal rather than change the shape. If your hair is frizzy because it is damaged, one of these is what you want. If it is frizzy because it is naturally curly and you want it straight, they are not, and you will be disappointed with the result no matter how good the product was.
The aftercare is not optional
Rebonded hair cannot be tied or tucked behind the ear for three days, or the bend sets in. Keratin needs a sulphate free shampoo, or you will wash a fifteen thousand rupee treatment out in a month. This is the part people ignore and then blame the salon for. We will write it down for you before you leave.
Why it matters
Four treatments, one word, and a price range from ten to twenty six thousand rupees. Most people book rebonding when they wanted keratin, or keratin when their hair actually needed repair. That is not their fault, it is what happens when a market sells all four as the same thing. Getting this choice right the first time is worth more than any discount, because the wrong one on the wrong hair takes months to grow out.

Tools sterilised, disposables single use
Metal implements are sterilised between clients. Files, buffers and anything that cannot be sterilised is used once and thrown away.

Keratin and rebonding questions we are asked
Rebonding permanently straightens the hair it is applied to and does not wash out. Keratin smooths and reduces frizz while keeping movement, and fades over three to five months. They are different treatments for different goals.
Brazilian keratin is PKR 14,000 at shoulder length, rising to 19,000 to 27,000 for long hair. Rebonding starts at 11,000 shoulder length.
Permanently on the hair that was treated. What brings you back is new growth, which comes in with your natural texture and shows a line at the root after about four or five months.
Any chemical service carries a cost. Done on healthy hair at the right strength with proper aftercare, that cost is manageable. Done on hair that is already damaged, it is not, and we will tell you before we take the booking.
Not for three days after keratin, and you must use a sulphate free shampoo afterwards. Rebonded hair also cannot be tied or tucked behind the ear for three days.
